Westbound on I-40- Part 3
« on: November 01, 2011, 06:20:36 PM »
Here's another installment of pictures. :) I believe a lot of these were in Oklahoma.
Kenworth T-800 with military equipment.

  • Red Peterbilt 386 sleeper from an unidentified company.
  • Point to Point Freightliner Coronado with a van.
  • Modest but sharp Freightliner Columbia for an unidentified company.
  • American Spirit Van Lines Volvo VNL with a "tagged" moving van.

Sierra Specialized Transport Peterbilt 379 with farm equipment.

  • Unidentified Freightliner FLD pulling a Keystone Freight Corp. van. Fancy seeing this here when I live around the corner from one of their truck yards!
  • Steve's Transportation Peterbilt 379 with a reefer on back.
  • Legend Transportation Kenworth T-600 with a reefer.
  • Kenneth Summey Trucking Peterbilt 378 with a reefer.

Tango International Prostar.

  • Sharp Volvo VNL with an ex-National Carriers reefer.
  • Liberty Transport Freightliner Cascadia tanker.
  • Religious ESTi Kenworth T-600 with a van.
  • Gilbert and Sons Peterbilt 379 with a van.

Ace Doran Hauling & Rigging Freightliner Coronado with a loaded flatbed.

  • Jack Cooper White/GMC car hauler.
  • Looks like Olag Van Lines moving van.
  • Royal Freight L.P. Peterbilt 389.
  • Trans Am Kenworth T-700 with a reefer.

RRR Transportation Freightliner Cascadia with a reefer.

  • Roberson Peterbilt 379 cattle truck.
  • Bohemian Kenworth W900 with a beat Utility van.
  • International 9300 big bunk hauling more military trucks. There are a lot of military and heavy haulers on I-40 from MS to OK.
  • New International being delivered by a drive-away operation.

The green White/GMC car hauler is a Jack Cooper unit.

Thanks Charlie, I changed it. Maybe one day I'll actually remember their name. :P

More nice catches here, Greg! I really like that first big bunk T800, maybe except for that odd looking bowtie shaped sunshade thing on top of his side window... and those things on the rear wheels, too... ??? The Ace Doran Coronado is nice, too, and I of course like the cattle pot. ;)

I've been going through your "Back Catalog" of posts and I've been enjoying them!  You took great pictures right from the start!  Love that IH 9300 Big Bunk!

Appreciate the compliment Rick. I've come a long way in 8 years. I started doing this when I was 15 back in 2005. I hold on to a lot of older pictures, not just because I don't see some of the stuff I shot anymore, but because reminds me where I started and shows me how much I improved.
