Bought this a year ago with 306K original miles. 1989 Canepa T600.

This was 21 years ago when I saw it at a vintage race in Wisconsin.

This is the same truck when new. These are two postcards I bought in a truckstop back in 1990. Noted photographer Ron Kimball shot the pics. I also have a 16x20 with a third shot.

It's nice to see how trucking evolved from old model to newer model. It seems like the T600 never seemed to lose it's distinctive appearance, the same with the T800 series.

To me, the roof looks interesting. It's not as aerodynamic, a bit thinner and bits of rough edges near the side. I mean, it looks like a shark fin. The thought of cresting hills up and down from a perpendicular point of view could give an impression that there's "land-sharks"  ;D. Oh, it even has those Mercedes headlight wiper thingies. When was this ever a trend? Funny how newer trucks never have this type of feature anymore.
