Charlie,

McCain's phased out their fleet in the early 2000's, which by then was mostly O/O's pulling their trailers, then had FastTrax pulling their product.  FastTrax is a division of Day & Ross.  Today, FastTrax pulls refrigerated cans to New Jersey for export, primarily out of Florenceville and Grand Falls NB.

Prime started hauling for McCain's in Easton, ME about 3-4 years ago.  We all wondered how long they would last, as the word was they had cut the rate hard to get the contract, but they are still here.  You can always seem to be able to tell a Prime truck when the snow kicks up by the lack of color in their knuckles grasping the wheel when you go by them.

I don't know if it's always the case today but Day&Ross was owned at one time by the McCain family.
