Curry Auto Transport
« on: September 19, 2011, 07:11:12 PM »
Curry Transport is a small car hauling company out of Grande Prairie Ab.He has had  many nice Peterbilt and keeps on getting more.I am going to post all of his trucks and the lease operators that have pulled for him. This probably should go under the car hauler section but he does some deck work as well so I wanted to put it here.I had a chance to talk to the owner Ryan and he seems to be a very nice guy as well. Some of these pictures I have posted before.                             This is his latest purchase ,a very nice 359.This Pete was recently on Truckpaper and has been at a number of truck shows

some lease operators that have pulled for him

That first truck was sold from my area, I know the previous owner and the whole fleet is made of vintage trucks, it's a 1989 with a 3406 B Model Cat. I see they've already replaced the pipes on it. It was a really nice truck, I hope they keep it original!

The first Pete can't be a 1989,it is a 359 so it has to be 1987 or older.I noticed the stacks as well ,in every previous picture I've seen it had mufflers.

Got that. If my memory is right (haha, that's a big leap of faith), it should be a later 359 because of the placement of the marker light and the turn signal on the fenders). Nice looking truck.

Sorry, typo. ::) It's an 1987, but now I'm doubting myself, I'll have to ask.

I see he has made a few small changes like the horns are gone.It almost looks like it might be a little lower in the front but I'm not sure.

I was told that about $30,000 would be going into the truck, that included a frame stretch and lowering it. Thanks for the pics. of it.

It is a very nice old Pete, looking forward to see what he does with it.Judging by the rest of his trucks it will be clean.

I learned a little more this outfit this week.Turns out only two trucks are owned by Ryan the rest are owner operators. The red and black 359 and the all black 359 are owned by brothers. They both went down to Minnesota and each returned with a 359.This is the black one ,it is a 1987 Classic #169

Ryan owns the grey and black one 359.                                                                                                                                                                               This 379 is also a lease op.                                                                 He has parked the red Pete for winter and put this 378 on the road
