Back From Drummond, MT Yesterday
« on: September 03, 2011, 12:06:41 PM »
I was in Anaconda, MT day before yesterday and spent time at a truckstop in Deer Lodge, waiting for the next morning to go load hay at a ranch in Drummond. I knew it would be a tight squeeze to load at seven and have to be 450 miles south in Tremonton, UT by four in the evening to unload before the long weekend. I didn't stop until it was absolutely necessary to take on forty gallons of fuel in Plymouth, UT (almost made it) and with that one stop, I pulled into the hay plant at 3:55, haha! 8)

Oshkosh plow in Montana.

Strange dump set up on ten axles... one side dump and one end dump.
Class...you either have it, or you don't.

Good timing! ;) ;D  Where was that Oshkosh plow at? I spotted one just like it in the Big Hole Valley, in the town of Wisdom, if I remember correctly. I bet there are lots of them looking like that out there, though...

Can't be sure, but it had to be somewhere near Drummond, maybe off the freeway and along MT-1.

Yeah, definitely not the same one, then. But it sure looks similar! ;)
