Virginia to Tennessee- Part 2
« on: August 29, 2011, 08:58:44 AM »
Here's another set of pictures on the way down to Tennessee.
Sattles Peterbilt 379 with a narrow tanker.

  • Daily International 9900ix. toting a bulldozer.
  • Peterbilt 387 hauling for Witmer Transport
  • Dart Volvo VNM sleeper. A lot of these are being leased on to Dart lately.
  • Palmetto State Freightliner Cascadia.
  • Tough Kenworth T-600 with a bit of overhang.
  • Powell Western Star straight flat.
  • ]Gibson Peterbilt 379

Beautiful blue Kenworth W900L I took from a rest area.

  • Peterbilt 379 with a grain trailer.
  • Relatively bad picture of a TMC Peterbilt 387 with super singles. :-\
  • CommScope Freightliner Cascadia
  • This "unique" Kenworth is called the Train Robber.
  • JD Peterbilt 379 with a 48' reefer.
  • Neat Peterbilt 386 pulling a reefer.
  • Rocky Top Freightliner Classic with an ex-Averitt trailer.

What a ride. ;D

  • Budd Van Lines Volvo for Executive Relocation.
  • Bisson Volvo VNL
  • Outwest International Prostar.
  • Peterbilt hauling for Frey Miller
  • Freightliner FLD with what looks like a trailer for carrying boats.
  • Ace Transport Peterbilt 379.
  • Sharp old style Freightliner Coronado.

More nice ones! Another good Commscope catch, and also the blue 386 and the blue W900L look good. Also, the Train Robber looks to be a KW, not a Pete, but I know how easy it is to make small typos like that when you're putting together a post like this... ;)

Yeah I was pretty out of it today Jan. I knew it was a KW but I must've gotten sidetracked by all the Petes. ;)

Another nice series.

I really like that Dart VNM sleeper. There is something about VNM sleepers that I like. The Commscope FL Cascadia is cool too. ;D

Hey you caught another Commscope! And a Cascadia too 8) 8)
Another favorite of mine is that sharp blue KW you caught from the rest area.

The "Train Robber" is a pretty neat catch.  Great series!
