this REO pulled in just before we left.

not exactly a truck, but as i was down where the trucks were, i spotted it behind a building and knew right away what it was, and had to get a picture.

only bad thing is it wasn't built by the same Brockway that built the trucks.

Great collection of trucks.  I had to do a double take on that tractor, never heard of the nameplate before.

if you go to the Brockway truck association's website, and look at the pics from the 2010 show, on page 5 at the bottom there is one of these tractors. this is the only yellow and red one i've saw, the other ones i saw (in pictures, because this is the first one i saw in person) were orange.

Some cool trucks to be sure.

Love the bumper on the IH Boot.

that IH was there last year, actually it was the only one i saw there before. last year there was a green cannonball, a green R model mack, and a diamond reo. those three weren't back this year. of course i didn't have my camera with me last year. here's a pic of the cannonball that was there last year (credit for this goes to Paul Kane):

It says on the Transtar that it comes with a 8v71. When was the first batch of those engine first release??? I always thaught that the 8v71 was a mid 70's engine....

Seen that International with the "Real Trucks Have Two Sticks" and the Cruiseliner at Macungie. Even took a closeup of the IH's bumper. They're some nice trucks.
The foot turned to the horse, the horse to the carriage, the carriage to the train, and the train to the truck.
