MATS '11 - Farmers Oil "Momma Cried" 389
« on: April 23, 2011, 02:57:52 PM »
This one was possibly my #1 favorite at the show this year. The details were incredible! The only thing I didn't really like was the curved bumper, apart from that I loved it!

First, the shots I got of it just as the sun was setting on Saturday evening, after the show. I'd wanted to get pics of it with the hood closed, but it was always open when I walked past it during the show itself, so I was pretty happy to see it was still there when we went back to have a look at what was left just as the sun set.

These are the pics I got of it before the show closed. ;)

Ok so here I can see that rounded bumper working.  After all this is a partially "Aero" truck so it fits.  I think it'd look better with Aero mirrors though IMHO.  Would tie the bumper in better.  Also I'd go with a smaller visor.

I agree, the bumper works better on this one than on the 359, but I'm still not sold on it. It's possible aero mirrors would help. And I also kind of agree on the visor - it's not extremely big compared to some other trucks out there, but also I don't like that shape of visor personally. It's possible a different visor would look better, yes.

Lots of imagination at work in this creation. 8) I'm not sure i'm ready for rounded bumpers yet though. :-\

Seems Farmers Oil have diversified some, I remember seeing a truck of theirs pulling a dry van, so a covered flatbed would make sense too, alongside that, I guess.

IMHO the visor and bumper ruin this truck!

I agree... plus the lack of lights on the roof. :-\
