Having left home at 3:15 AM to avoid the DC traffic Ruther Glen was the first real chance to get some photos after the sun came up. Situated at the junction of I-95 and VA 207 it's a crossroads for trucks heading up and down 95 or those who elect to bypass Baltimore & DC and the toll roads and choose US 301 instead. In any event with 4 trucks stops it never fails to yield an interesting and varied assortment of big rigs.

Boeing exhibit trailer hooked to a Volvo from Mobility Resource Associates from St. Clair Shores MI.

Weaver Western Star livestock hauler from PA.

Cox Carolina Pole KW T800 from Leland NC.

AAFES FL Cascadia belonging to 2008 Driver of the Year Roger C. Brown Sr.

KW COE laid over at a motel.

Super Service KW from Somerset KY.

A couple of Petes with TT Leasing Co. from PA.....one's got a strange load eh.

A Miami special KW T600 belonging to Large Car Transport.

I absolutely love that AAFES Driver of the Year Cascadia! Yeah, it's just a regular Cascadia, but I love that mural on the side, that's kind of matching the flag on the trailer. Sweet. 8)

And those two Pennsylvania Petes are very very classy. :)
