 8) There's a Con Trans Cascadia Parked on the Weekends in the Rockland area off Old Hwy #17.. I'm assuming He / She Bobtails down from the Ivaco Rolling Mills in L'Original.. I like the Setup , No wasted space off the Frame .. Looks all Business & Muscle..lol...

Nice shots Sam, even though it seems they lost a bit of color that 6 axle conestoga is neat.

Here's one Wayne Crane got.
Contrans but still in Lacey Dalton colours.

I'm not sure but this was at least 5 years ago.

More additions to the Contrans Flatbed Group

Cole Industrial Carriers from Hamilton.
J&F from Ajax.

It seems J&F have disappeared but the Cole name still lives.
More later.

There was another Rob on the forum, drove for J&F for a bit, built a cool model of one of the trucks, from the Orillia area, grew up in London town, can't think of his last name now! He has not been too active on here of recent, sadly!

Would that be Mr Nagle?  I know who you're referring to.  I've been wondering what happened to him.  Took some great shots, especially those ones up on the rock formations north of Toronto.

The Cole Carriers web site gives no indication that they were sold off to Contrans but I saw an International daycab with Cole in the TFI font and colour scheme the other day so I went looking on line. I found a Facebook site for them. There was a picture of another Contrans Flat driver and the caption said that he came on board with their acquisition of J&F in 2017.
So; boom!
Two more smaller carriers swollowed up.

Of course, I had been farting around with the camera settings the day before and when I saw the truck with Cole go past I tried for a picture  >:( >:(
the setting was screwed up.
