Thanks for the reminder...
Ashes to ashes and dust to dust if it wasn't for those " Bad Ass Peterbilts " the Hammer Lane would rust.

I enjoy watching this show and good to see they got picked up for another season.  Also like Swamp Loggers. Ax Men..... what a joke.

I liked the episode last night, I thought half way through about what happened to that Mack Titan they got.

Good show, It looks like the Pellitier's expanded into some other ventures. You gotta love them old Mack DM's they run, some are even 6x6s.

They bought 2 Mack Titans..."Bonecrusher" was assigned one, and the oldest brother Danny got the other, Danny tipped his over, even though it showed an older Western Star...the trailer building division was the former Stairs Welding from Hodgton, Maine that Pellatier bought out and moved down to Millinocket.  Stairs made an excellent product and was legendary in the Maine wood hauling scene for decades...both trailers and headache racks...the Moose River mill in Jackman that Steve Gilman was delivering to is the mill I haul out of...I see the Pellatier trucks in there all the time...

Stairs in Hodgdon is still in business.  Pelletier's bought out Valley Trailer in Fort Kent.

Thanks for the reminder...

It's not the bad ass peterbilts that keep the hammer lane squeaky clean anymore. It's the soccor moms in the minivans and business professionals on the phone.

I think the Pelleiters (sorry if spelled wrong) are a good example of a good business operation that is highlighted on television, unlike some operations. I don't have anything against the loggers on Ax Men, well actually I do (but they aren't the real loggers ::)), and I think you can tell how well the operation is run, but you have to look past the drama.

Just saying but American Loggers is one of the best shows I've seen on tv!

Glad to see I wasn't the only one to go looking to see if they traded. Word must be out about those trucks if they are still there nearly a year later.

08 Cat with problems...shocking  ::) wonder how the new DD they got will do. Wish they would have shown the "meeting " with the dealership & the exact problems. They do have some cool old Mack's though.

I am surprised that those cat engines would still be under warranty. It is a great show, I'm usually half asleep when it comes on though. There Westernstars are pretty sweet, especially the older ones with the spoke rims. It is also rumored that Brian AKA Bonecrusher has left the company.
