As per request of Jimmy....

Yellow Sterling at the Pittsburgh Layover motel in the AM of 5/10:

Lunchtime finds the Sterling joined by a Volvo.

Evening finds the Sterling gone and replaced with a Roadway tandem.

Nice shots, Paul.  I don't see former Yellow Sterlings out here.  We don't have many layover hotels out in Philly.
The foot turned to the horse, the horse to the carriage, the carriage to the train, and the train to the truck.

Must have been 8 or 9 Estes trucks at the Holiday Inn Express in South Plainfield NJ today plus a NEMF Mack CH which i missed. The Ward 9200 must have more reward points and got to stay at the Hampton Inn next door. ;D

Cool shots! That S/A TranStar just about fits in that parking stall.

Thanks Dave. Back before retirement i'd ride through the 3-4 layover motels in Secaucus every lunch hour.........really built up my collection of LTL tractors. ;D These 2 hotels in South Plainfield always have LTL and food haulers in the lots.

A new brand tractor on the 14th.  It looked like it could have been a newer unit and not a re-branded one.  Most of the other power that's been here has been looking pretty ragged lately.

Well I'm glad that they sent one along your way that pleases you. I'd love to see one of the rebranded or newly branded units. Thanks for the post and photo...

That tractor is actually a 2008 model and one of two (along with a Yellow Volvo) that were rebranded for the National TDC 2 years ago.  I have photos of this tractor and the Yellow version when they were in Cleveland and they were taken by a YRC driver from Chicago.

Yes I remember Al bagged the two of them in Cleveland. They're also the two trucks that appear in YRCs informational material too. Nice to see it still looking good! Chris Sissick's seen it as well along with some other rebranded Roadway tractors.

Wow, so there was only ever two of these done to date?  I'm glad I took a head-on shot but wish now I would have documented it a little more.
