Cool shot. First time I've seen dedicated "truck parking".

Cool shot. First time I've seen dedicated "truck parking".

They're pretty common in more rural areas, but the lots are usually much larger to accomodate the whole rig.
The foot turned to the horse, the horse to the carriage, the carriage to the train, and the train to the truck.

The sign isn't indicating dedicated parking per se (He's in a car space), what they're saying is they don't want anyone parking there for other reasons, like visiting the neighboring fast food joints, locals for the weekend, etc.  They do have a dedicated line just to the left at the back of the lot where the trucks park.

Shot this morning at their Pittsburgh layover motel in the suburb of Greentree, just outside of downtown.  Didn't realize til later that they both have the older logos, which is kind of cool.

Cool shot of the 2 Volvos Paul. 8) Reminds me of my days rolling through the Secaucus NJ motel lot a couple of years ago & catching similar duos. :)

And I beleive, if you look closely, they are spec'ed identical, being purchaced after the creation of YRC

The YRC (Yellow) Volvo looks like it's had a replacement to the lower right fairing.  :-\

Paul, having the foreground focus on the Roadway tractor was a neat effect. I might have angled it a bit differently but it is a nice shot.

Thanks, but I had to manuever around parked cars, I only had my long lens with me, and I was in view of the front desk so I didn't want to screw around too much.  Plus I was late for work. :)
