Even more Lonestar again
« on: September 29, 2010, 01:57:53 PM »
About every time I go truck spotting  or make a short trip, I see new Lonestar. Seem that , at least here in Quebec, many small fleet and private carriers use them as a flagship.  Pics were taken during an excursion along TCH 09-15-2010).

A.D. Picard is a scrap metal hauler from St-Pie-de-Bagot. Fleet  is mostly Pete 379 with a few KW W-900 and T-800. This Lonestar roll off is a new comer there.

An unknow lumber hauler from  probably Eastern Quebec.

This one is from the milk hauling division of Villeneuve Tank Lines out of Cornwall ON.

This one is use by  a farm equipment dealer ( Case/ International ) .

TRL is for Transport René Lavoie from Matane Qc. They have a sister company name transport Inter-Côte ( TIC).  Both company seem to have  standardized around Pete 386 for the last few year. This Lonestar is a surprise to me.

Business must be good when even the scrap haulers are runnin' Lonestars. :-D Once again a nice set Gerard - looks like the trees still have plenty of green left in them. 8-)

A few days after the excursion , I made a short trip to Quebec City. While there,  I spend a short time to  take truck pictures  along TCH in St-Nicolas ( km 310 ).

Dimensions Doors  is a manufacturer of wood dors based in Boisbriand  north of Montreal.

Fisher Transport is a liquid carrier from  Nova Scotia. They have at least another Lonestar in a all Binders fleet.

Transport Laurentien is a groceries  hauler based in Terrebonne , north of Montréal. Recently they have started pulling LCV between Montreal and Quebec with this shiny Lonestar.

Nice shots of Lonestars Gerard. Your photos never disappoint :-D. But I really like the Fisher transport the best.
