Trucking In General
« on: August 17, 2010, 01:37:08 PM »
Over the last couple of years i've noticed (or not noticed) that a lot of companies i'd seen on the road had just vanished into thin air. Really didn't know if they had attained Fallen Flag status or just changed traffic lanes or downsized or parked their rigs awaiting better times. Thought maybe we could discuss those companies in this thread without cluttering up the Fallen Flag topic. Photos are certainly appreciated but not necessary so let's get started & maybe figure out which companies survived the recession and which ones didn't.

I can tell you that Haney Truck Line of Yakima is still around and doing better than ever. Since 2006 they've purchased:

Lower Columbia Trucking
Okanogan Seattle Transport
Puget Sound Truck Lines
Nickel Plate Express
Great American Transport

I drove for Haney from 06-12 and have worked as their Communications & Design Specialist since 2014.
