I discovered this museum by accident, didn't even know it existed. :?
Can't find a dedicated website, but found a few pics and info about it.

Air Force Heritage Park

Bonus, also an accident, found a photo archive of historic CDN forces planes.

Another accident, more recent photos, thousands.

Thanks for sharing Willy,

It's amazing the stuff you can find in your area that you didn't even know existed Willy. :-o Looks like a pretty cool museum with a surprising amount of airplanes. 8-) Let me know when you stumble across the Manitoba Surfboarding Hall of Fame & i'll plan a trip up your way Willy.

(here I've missed this scintillating discussion up to now.... :-o)
RonJons....hey Charlie; until you wrote that message I had never heard of the place.
I thought, since you said you went there, it was likely a bar or similar establishment where adult beverages might be available. Here it's a SURF SHOP!
Are you taking up surfing to fill the hours between photography expeditions?
WOW!
What a guy!
What a DOOD!

I find they have a Ron Jons in Barrie Ontario.

You'll have to show us pictures of you on the waves!

Just stop in for a t-shirt or hat Rob. :-D The original store is on Long Beach Island (LBI) - maybe 10 minutes from my house in NJ. The guy who owns 'em caught a good wave & is still ridin' it all the way to the bank. I think Surfer Boy Nate frquents them quite a bit.  :-D
