I know they bit the dust.  What happened ?  One of my first bosses worked for them in Pittsburg.  I heard they were pretty good.  When I was with Bowman, we interlined with them, in Philly I believe and also Baltimore, I think.

Deregulation and non union competition forced to shut down in 1982.The special commodity division continued to  operate four more years but high insurance rates,labor problems and increased competition forced the company to shut down completely in 1987.
