(120 day warning.....)
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Bruce R. Smith (BRS) has signed a deal for 42 International ProStars from Tallman Truck Centre.

The new 2015 units have automatic transmissions and Cummins ISX15 engines.

“Our customers rely on us for premium service and we are committed to providing them just that.,” Sandro Caccaro, president of BRS said. “We saw the need to invest in a new fleet of fuel-efficient trucks that would better meet customers’ demands and environment concerns. We chose Tallman for their ability to enhance our fleet maintenance requirements on a 24/7 basis across their extensive dealer network in Ontario.”

Kevin Tallman, president of Tallman Truck Centre added, “This deal is a win-win for both Bruce R. Smith and Tallman Truck Centre. Bruce R. Smith gets the fuel efficient equipment they need to service the growing needs of their customers and we get the opportunity to create a long-term partnership…We look forward to being part of Bruce R. Smith’s future.”

BR Smith is no longer an independant company.
It is owned by the holding company that owns Fastfrate and Canada Drayage.
It now is based in Woodbridge Ontario.

From their website:
The group consists of four operating entities including Fastfrate, Fastfrate Integrated Logistics, Canada Drayage Inc. (CDI) and Bruce R Smith.

Do they still have the paint scheme? Or are they gone to Fastfrate colours?

Jim.

From what I can tell; the name of Bruce R Smith and the colour scheme have passed into history. :(

I found another old pic from 2012.

I guess I should move this to the Fallen Flags category.

This is what it looks like today.
https://www.fastfrate.com/en/core-services-linehaul.aspx

It states on their website:
Fastfrate Group announced today they have fully merged the BRS Transportation operation into the Consolidated Fastfrate operation effective October 15th, 2018. They have re-allocated these BRS resources throughout the various Fastfrate divisions to maximize utility for current future growth.
