ABERFOYLE 2009
« on: August 31, 2009, 02:05:28 AM »
I understand that some truck enthusiasts of Southern Ontario will be set up at Aberfoyle Ontario on September 12.
The Port Colborne contingent usually drives up for that.
How many trucks will you be bringing Jim?
What about the Jon Zavitz Freightliner COE?
Will there be a SLEEMAN truck in attendance?
Some Proctors?
The BIG GREEN TRUCK?
Maybe a Flour Hauler from Acton?
Wig-Wag...can you bring the KW?

I will try (once again) to get there but I do have a scheduling conflict (always seems to be the way).
People from the northern states like NY, PA, OH, MI, could come to Aberfoyle.

Highway 401 and Brock Road/ Ontario Highway 6 at the Schneider National terminal.

What about the Jon Zavitz Freightliner COE?

Not this year Rob, maybe next.

Possibly I could talk Jim into strapping it to his low-deck!  :-D
Or even better we could peal the big blue tarp off the B-model and cart it up to Aberfoyle.

Hopefully I'll see you there Rob.

First set of pictures......

Good weather this year, I was a little disappointed that Schneider chinced out and didn't have the BBQ fired up like they had the last couple years.

Cool pictures!  The Baker rig and the Ford Superduty were both at Macungie this year.
The foot turned to the horse, the horse to the carriage, the carriage to the train, and the train to the truck.

Nice Pictures Hammertime, When did Baker roll in I'm a little disappointed I missed it.

I thought the Scobie Ford was pretty interesting and cool.

I see they made Stephen leave the FLC on the road, they must not be letting it in anymore been at too many shows.
