MOSS BIG SUMMER BASH
« on: September 22, 2009, 07:59:23 AM »
I was invited by Steve a while back to come to there yearly company bash. From what I had heard, I new it would be pretty big. but when I pulled up I about fell out of the car. What a party great for the entire family. More food than you could ever eat . plenty of soda and beer and even a live band. Steve's dad. Jack. has a lot of hot rods and a lot of his friends brought there's. I met some really nice people and one thing I heard over and over is how cool Jack and his wife is. Which i highly agree. Steve's family made all of the food and they had a couple pigs on the roaster. What a great time I had !  It was nice meet the rest of the Moss family too. I would boast More about Steve being cool.  but, since he hasn't taken me for a ride in his truck yet I'll have to hold off.... Here are some of the pictures I took while I was there. First one is of Steve and his wife and Daughter.

 Charlie.

They are located in a town called Lannon. Its about 20 miles north east from me and  right next to Menominee falls. As for the food. I timed it perfect. Soon as I arrived, I grabbed a beer and a seat by the food tables. Then, soon as I sat down. they started to bring out the food. Being as smart as I am. I snagged a plate and headed over to the chow right away. I think it was Steve's sister who told me. if I wanted to wait , there would be more dishes coming out.  ( they had an army of people bringing food out.)  they already had three long tables packed with all kinds of food. So I decided to suffer and just go with what they already had out. by the time I made it through. the line was at least 150 ' long. ( No it wasn't because I took too long  :-D) Then on the other side of the shop . they had guy and a huge table set up with fresh sweet corn.

Here are a couple more from the Party. But the main thing.this is my 1000 post !!! I know compared to most, its nothing. but to me its everything. I actually never have made it to 1000 post on any web sites I have been on. One of them is a fishing web site that I have been going to since 1997. anyways, I'm going to have a beer and enjoy my accomplishment   :-D

(  I see that I Messed things up by moving my pictures around. So I re-posted them down below )

Hello Terry,

How are you doing?? Seem's you have a REAL GOOD TIME!!!!!
And a real nice "show" of the trucks and cars either!!!!
How many trucks do they have in their fleet??
BTW, I found myself a "new" DAF to ride!!!!! A 2004 DAF CF-85/380 4x2 with ZF 8-gears box and 3-axled "curtain-sider" trailer!!!!!
"Mainly "day-trips" in Germany, Holland and Belgium!!!!!
Hey Charlie, I "know" Jan loves "food and trucks", but during my "stay" in Norway he doesn't drink a "single beer"!!!!!
Greetings from Germany,

Leo
Deceased.
