Looking good Bowtie. Is your inspiration for your code 3's local companies to you or just companies with liveries that you like? There are a few Tekno made Scania prime movers with A-Frame trailers on eBay which look great. Have you got any plans to do an A-Frame project? Also have you made any units into a TAG axle configuration from a lift axle model? I fancy getting a model with TAG but they seem very limited and the ones that have are expensive like all Tekno.

 :-) 8-)

When i make a model for my own collection it's usualy in factory Demo colors or local livery.
I've build a few models for other people, like the "Bakker" Volvo FH that is build for the company for display at the office.
A Volvo F89 with trailer for an Uncle and the DAF CF with crane is "under construction" for the driver.
And after the CF is another Volvo FH to be build for the owner/operator.
This one:

After that one is again a Volvo to be build for a company for display at the office
Making tag axles isn't that difficult if you have the details (i use alot of pictures for every truck) and some spare parts.

Man, your good. Wish I could find a DAF CF or XF in 1:50 scale that isn't super expensive to ship to the USA, or one on a US website, but I haven't been able to.

Very nice model, looks like the real deal!

Thanks to roogie for the Photo!

I'm currently building a Mercedes-Benz:

This is the "donor truck"

Sandblasted the chassis and cab, and added already some parts, like new wheels :

Selfmade frontbumper and Roobar, fueltanks, highrise air intake:

Nice one, see your going for the Aussie look. Are you putting a trailer with the unit? I done my Aussie test in a unit similar to the one your making.
