Most of the roll off operators out here in LaLa land are fleets and a chromed out roll off is pretty rare==nice shot of the Pete and thanks for sharing.

Looks like running empty with that one would be about all the engine could handle  - - There are a lot of White/Volvo LCF trash and roll off  rigs around here some dateing back to before Volvo entered the picture. Next time I'm at the bridge will get a couple--they go by about every 5 minutes.
Where did you take that pic as I never saw that combo running on NY roads.
Thanks for sharing.

Our local dump (land fill if you want to call it that) was in the daisy chain for a few years, and one of the companies was called CID.
Basicly they took a little piece of property that should have lasted this community several decades, and built a mountain of garbage by bringing it in from all over the state.
Finally the town shut it down, but we will have that big hump on the landscape with the goo oosing out of it for ever.

Got a call from dispatch late one afternoon, and was told not to fuel or circle check my truck just take it into the garage when I returned and see the mechanics?? It turned out that my truck I was driving was on the disposal list and had been sold. Here it is the next morning when I came in. They take all ID off of the truck also took 8 new drive tires off, the drivers air ride seat which was fairly new, fire extinguisher all to be put on another truck. It was even a shock to our mechanics that this truck was set for disposal. Oh well stuff happens when you work for a larger company.

Ray it was actually fairly low in mileage about 500,00km or 350,000 mile give or take. It was a 2000. Who knows??

I vaugely remember that B model from Macungie, sans camping unit.  That's a vey interesting setup.  I had no idea it was a rolloff when I saw it in person!
The foot turned to the horse, the horse to the carriage, the carriage to the train, and the train to the truck.
