I saw this Freightliner Cascadia daycab on Saturday 7-17.
It caught me by surprise so I only got a "going away" shot.  Trimac, around here, seems to be hiring owner operators and not enforcing their paint code.

A daycab in company paint is now a rare sighting.

Going through some pictures from the end of August I found this one of a Trimac Pete pulling a flat deck trailer.

It was hard to catch between the tree and the sign.

Trimac must have a customer that requires flatdeck service along with the bulk.

That picture almost looks like the Reimer trailer had all the axels.
When skills ruled.

In that case, I don't want to see how much it will cost them at the toll bridge... :)

From last weekend, Sunday Sept 19/2010. Northbound near Whites Falls Rd on the 400, first up a Mack with B-trains:

Followed soon after by a Freightliner with 5 axle trailer:

Wow, that's about as classic a Canadian photo as you can get:  Trimac, the multi-axle and B-Train tankers, and the old two lane main highway through the rock cuts.

I believe we shot a few pictures in that same general area with the rocks back in '80 or '81.

This spot is nice for photos because although the highway is 4 lanes almost all the way now northbound & southbound lanes are separated by a large rock formation - technically I'm standing in the median! Back in the early 80's it was still two-lane up through here, I remember highway construction going on in the Port Severn area when I first moved up this way at the end of the 80's.

Wow those photos are amazing R Nagle :-D. I like the way you photographed it in between the north and southbound lanes. The 400 has some interesting places to photograph 8-)!
It's Appearance might be Half yours but it's Reliability might be Twice yours!!

I've been seeing these short hood mid-roof Cascadias running the I-79 corridor for the last year or so.
