Looks like YRC is getting in on the act too. Caught this Volvo last week at an Edison NJ warehouse.

Add Dart Transit to the list.  I saw one of their O/O's pulling a Wally World trailer on the Beltway today.

Wal-mart runs a few different Dedicated operations with outside carriers.  They have a Dedicated National account, a Dedicated Reefer National account and then they have their Dedicated DC accounts, both dry and reefer.

Wal-mart has 4 dedicated carriers that pull dry freight for them across the nation:
National Freight from Vineland NJ
Dart Transit Company from Eagan MN
Covenant Transport of Chattanooga
US Xpress of Chattanooga

Wal-mart has 4 dedicated carriers that pull reefer freight from California to their produce DC's:
PAM Transportation of Tonitown AR
Shaffer Trucking(Crete) of Nebraska
Dart Transit Company of MN
one carrier from the GA area that I can't remember the name of right now

They also run these carriers to do store deliveries from their Grocery DC's:
Swift supports:
Grandview WA DC
Riverside CA DC
Fontana CA DC
Corrine UT DC
Casa Grande AZ DC
Los Lunas NM DC
Robert LA DC
New Albany MS DC
Moberly MO DC
Harrisonville MO DC
Monroe GA DC
Pageland SC DC

Crete supports:
Ochelata OK DC
North Platte NE
Sterling IL

Werner supports:
Tomah WI

CRL/Greatwide supports (or maybe they don't since they filed Chapter 11)
Pauls Valley OK
Cleburne TX
Terrell TX
Temple TX
New Caney TX
Shelbyville TN
Winter Haven FL
Arcadia FL
Macclenny FL
Opelika AL
Brundige AL

Schneider supports:
Olney IL
Gas City IN
London KY
Washington Ct House OH
Wintersville OH
Henderson NC
Gordonsville VA

JB Hunt supports
Johnstown NY

Finally....Wal-mart Fleet trucks support
Lewiston ME

There are many carriers that are asked to help out with the DC's when extra capacity is needed, but these above are the only "dedicated" carriers.

That should cover it.

Charlie, as far as that YRC getting their hands in the Wal-mart stuff, YRC operates a warehouse in Jersey City NJ that picks up, consolidates and redistributes Wal-mart freight for the Northeast just because of the high volume of vendors up there!

What about the Hermiston, Oregon DC? I see just about every major carrier in that one.

Who has the Dedicated for it?

Hermiston is just a Regional dry DC, the Wal-mart Fleet runs that.

I take that back...looks like a portion of Hermiston is Grocery.  Appears the fleet runs trucks out of that one.
