Some shots from around Charleston, South Carolina

AAA Cooper

This was the only CSE truck I saw. I didn't realize it was a Ford until viewing the image later.

Watkins and Shepard

5 or 6 years ago I shot a tandem ODFL FLD in this same spot, also plling a container

The only tractor in Gaines Motor Lines yard in North Charleston

Lots of good stuff in here.  The twin-screw FLD with the 34' liftgate is an oddball for USF Holland.  I'm thinking it's an old Red Star tractor but I could be wrong.  The CSE "Ford-ling" is a great find too.  I find it's hit or miss with them.  Sometimes they're out in full force and somedays it seems they're barely on the road. :|  Lastly, the twin-screw White/GMC is another great oddity!  I've seen a handful of these but they have never been anything other than a single axle.

All in all, this is one of the best LTL topics I've ever read.  Thanks a lot for posting. 8-)

Thanks Greg!  I was curious if there would be any feedback on the ODFL Columbia, being a tandem with the longer hood, but I did see that there are several with those specs on Dave Faust's page.

That ODFL truck is a pretty interesting find though.  I have seen a lot of them on Mr. Faust's page, but there are more out west than here.  I think some are also ex-Priority.  I didn't figure there were that many out here in the east.
