I really like tankers so here a few of the local trucks.

International for Frazier & Mann fuel oil, Weber City, VA


Peterbilt 379 for Childers Transport, Whitesburg, KY.


Kenworth W900L for Childers Transport, Whitesburg, KY.


Kenworth T800 for Imperial Transport, Cumberland Gap, TN.

Great tanker shots Bub! Them Childers tankers does some serious speed on US-23 and I-75 coming from Knoxville. I'd running up I-75 and they just blow right by me and loaded. That Childers guy owns the Double Quik stations around the region I think.

Yep Don Childers. He has built quite the empire.  The Double Kwik stores in Virginia sold to a company out of Richmond back in the spring so Childers Transport has lost a lot of the loads they used to carry.  PTC picked up the Fas-Mart account.
