Schneider Mack COE
« on: June 24, 2008, 05:57:14 PM »
Found this one in Gary Morton's Collection.  I didnt know that Schnedier ever ran any Macks.  Maybe Schneider was testing the waters and tried a few of these??   well either way I still thought it was a cool pic

IIRC, the cabover was a test unit, along with a few other ones, and they ended up getting sold off after only a short time. There was a discussion on here about Schneider Macks a few months ago. I might be wrong though.

They were powered by 350's with 9 speeds if I'm thinking of the right trucks here.

I wonder how the Mack compared with the International COEs they were operating at the time.

How about a Mack CH done up like a Pumpkin?  :? Spotted this at the Petro in Bordentown several years ago. Is this an O/O or company truck?  :?

Well its an Owner Operator.  But that mack looks like it might have been a company truck or maybe it was and Allied truck before.

I know this post is old sorry to dig it back up, But did anyone else notice that both the Mack COE and the Mack Vision that Gary shot has the same truck # 14105.  Wonder if this is in fact an IC Since IC's keep the same truck number over the years.
