one of those days
« on: March 08, 2008, 04:32:57 PM »
last night i had a light issue, kept popping the breaker, so i found the problem and had to wait for my drill to recharge before fixing it.

this morning i woke up to atleast 6 more inches of snow.

i quickly fixed it. Total hack job, but it got the job done.

Some inconsiderate driver parked in a no parking area, making a very tight squeeze to get out, but i got out.

road was slicker than..... complete snowpack for the first 60miles.

Maverick specialized truck in front of me, lost a super single tire (and did some damage to his trailer:

kentucky was a mess. Apparently, they do not know how to take care of roads.

got into west virginia, and had a car in front of me spin out. he went from the hammer lane (where i was, behind him) to the right guard rail. I slammed the brakes. and then I decided to mash the throttle. I did, and if i waited one or two more seconds, he would have ended up under my trailer.

apparently my quick thinking avoided him from smacking the trailer tandems, or even the ICC bumper. after that, it was snowy on the WV Turnpike, and finally hit good weather in virginia! In north carolina now!

The snow removal & salt shaking jobs on I-64 in Kentucky is now under Independant Contractors responcability becuz of budget problems in the state...I'm glad that the Kentucky Transporation Cabinet is clearing our roads down here in southeast KY instead of contractors...Nice pic of that Maverick Specialized, that is some damage there & I bet that 4-wheeler was speeding???

Good thing your tandems were all the way back... otherwise he might have gone under the overhang/bumper... :P
