You should maybe find a hobby or a sport, spend sometime outside perhaps.

Probably not an unreasonable question or observation since I don't think forward stacks on the FLD have been that common.  I don't think they were even offered when the sleepercab was introduced.  This one below is probably older and looks to have a detached sleeper box.

Now this looks a little weird, a Classic XL with a full condo but no stacks.  Nice truck though.

yeah  :-D I've seen quite a few car haulers with the exhaust sheild on there with no exhaust. a car hauler could pull the look off, my truck probably could not  :-D

I wonder if the factory sells them with just the heat sheilds, or if the owner/the people that build them into car haulers install them.

A couple of my dumps have weed burners on them. Most times I do it for the sake of looks, the black down the box makes it hard to keep them clean. I have a '91 IH that doesn't have the weed burner and I'll take  picture to show the "drool" but that also has the flares as Pat's truck does so you would have a hard time noticing it had no stack.

I don't think that is a factory option, but some dealers customize trucks before they sell them.

Not extremely rare to see a dual side stack FLD.

I always loved FLD's for some reason. Forward or behind, they were a cool truck, for a Freightliner. And I also like the flattops better.

Yep you got me there Jim.  I should have said it didn't have forward stacks.

It's not worth debating, it just that they are or were far less common than the ones behind the sleeper due to the intregal cab and I thought Kyle's observation needed some backup due to the second post.  I admit that the ones with the forward stacks catch my eye too.  It gives them a unique look.

That's it right there, nice looking ride for a condo. Looks like a brand new chassis on the can. And check out the old Jevic.

On the FLD's i think it was more common to see dual stacks behind the cab although the stacks in front are the trucks i always wanted to get a picture of.  8-)

That said the FLD's with the one stack (right side) set up did look a little weird.

Can't recall ever seeing a Classic with the one stack set up.
