Misc from Iowa
« on: November 04, 2007, 11:00:50 AM »
Some odds and ends from different parts of Iowa...

Two really sharp Petes operated by Jensen Bros. & Son out of Kimballton, Iowa. I wish they had parked that black one in the same direction as the white one, it had me practically climbing into the bushes to get a decent shot of it.  :-(

Nice 379 owned by Chesley Trucking out of Homestead, Iowa, and leased to STC Sammons out of Missoula, MT.

Nice heavy haul Pete 379-119 operated by Altorfer Cat out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Another nice heavy haul Pete, this one a 379-127 operarted by St Louis Construction out of St Cloiud, MN.

Well kept FL cabover operated by Amana Farms of Amana, Iowa.

Not quite as well kept Pete 362 operated by Hamlin Iron & Metal out of Hamlin, Iowa.

Nice Pete 377 operated by Best Ranch out of Brayton, Iowa.

Old FLD operated by Hansen out of Audubon, Iowa.

A rather odd looking garbage truck: Long nose Pete 379 found in Audubon, Iowa.

Those first two really look sharp... the Cat hauler looks good too.
Plus, I'm alright with an all-Petercar and Freightshaker posting too. 8-)
Class...you either have it, or you don't.

Those first 2 trucks are very nice! I also like the Pete carrying the pickup truck.

Im in love with the Altorfer Cat Pete.  That basically is how I like to see my heavy haul trucks.  Reminds me of the JK Hackl Petes around there.  Great shots of a great looking truck.

I remember the thread you posted about the Jensen Freightliner. I hope you don't mind me posting the link Charlie.

Glad you like it, Steve! I thought that one was pretty sharp, too.

Ahh, very cool, Charlie, I remember seeing your pics of that FL, but didn't realize it was from the same fleet as these Petes! Very cool. And thanks for posting the link, Joseph.  8-)

You know I can't find it, but I'm pretty sure I posted a picture of this one caught in my area and you commented on it.

Wouldn't be surprised, as that outfit is out of Audubon, which isn't all that far from your place, I guess. :)
