I didn't even realize I had caught a new Volvo in the YRC combo until I looked at the image at home on the computer.

I'm not sure, but this Central rig shot yesterday in Pittsburgh looks to have something new going on with the trailer.  I don't believe I've noticed that style of the exterior metal bars before.

I got a new truck on Monday, a Peterbilt 579.

I miss my Cascadia, which was more comfortable with the extra legroom and wider seats.  Feel cramped in the 579, which has very little storage.  Cummins power, column mounted shifter with integrated jake brake selector.

May have to work into this one, not impressed yet.

Not anymore, I'm on a turn with Fargo in N. Sioux City, SD.  They send 2 drivers with triples and we send 3 with doubles. After trailer rearrangement we all go home.

I'm still fighting the Pete, hard seat and no storage on top of the cramped cab (front to back, my seat is against the back wall) is making this gray haired man sore when I'm getting home.  Especially my tail bone.

Was this given to you without a choice. nice to see once in a while that somebody likes a shacker over a Paccar. :)

Yes, the truck is assigned to my bid, not to me specifically.  After 3 weeks and 9,100 miles I still don't like the Pete, not enough leg room. Tailbone still sore.

I have not taken any pics because I don't want to remember it.

Great catch Paul. If indeed it is Pitt Ohio, glad they are still putting a few Mack's into their fleet, even if this is only a test unit.

They have a group of Anthems coming on line which is good to see

Paul, Universal integrates like its sister company, Central Transport, same type of bran new trailer with a no frill lettering and
minimalist black wheel rims.
