Two photos of UPS Freight Truckload with new badges parked in Collins, MO. At the Pilot getting some sleep.
This the first time i had seen the new badges. Also the change of the color for the UPS Truck Load Division. Taken on February 22, 2012.

I drove right by there today, that place used to be a .. run down .. place. :)

Good to see the acorn making it's way through the fleets.

I saw a 3 axle R+L Sterling today on I-4 around Orlando FL.  :o Can't recall ever seeing a Sterling in their fleet but maybe i'm tired from a day on the road and just can't remember. :D If the grab shot turned out i'll post it when i get home tomorrow.

R+L buys so much used equipment, I'm not surprised. Can't wait to see the picture!

A Con-way Truckload driver at the ConwayDriver forums said he has seen a few Con-way Freight International ProStars! No pics to confirm it, but he said they were in full Con-way Livery, stripes and everything. Keep lookout for them, I'm going to ask my dad as well.

Thanks to roogie for the Photo!

Me too, that would definitely make them look great! :) Although I am sure some of the grumpier members might feel that that's as out of place on an LTL rig as pinstriping on a Mack R. :P Haha!

Well like i said it's just a grab shot, not the best, probably something i'd only post to show the "item in question" does truly exist. ;D At least we know there's one Sterling in the R+L Carriers fleet. Dave Faust also has one in his collection on the main site that was hauling pikers on the FLA Turnpike. Wonder if it might be the same one?  ??? Odd how they were a big Ford user in the '90's but shied away from Sterlings.

Au contraire Jan. ;D Pinstriping was pretty common on trucks in the northeast back in the day......Bulldogs included. :D

That was a very northeast coast thing when I was trucking back then, part of that look.

I'd rather see an LTL truck with "ugly steel wheels" but that's just me. They just don't look right wearing aluminum rims (though they probably do make the truck lighter).
The foot turned to the horse, the horse to the carriage, the carriage to the train, and the train to the truck.

I love clean steel wheels, especially 5 holes, but the aluminums look good too.

I don't really have a preference, but I do think it looks bad when aluminum wheels (and tanks like we have at FXF) end up looking the way they do from neglect.
