Sounds logical to me! I had a feeling that's where they're going.

I'm not sure why we get the Denver trucks here in Kansas City first, we put them in service then run them to our Denver meets in WaKeeney, Kansas.  Must save some money on transport I guess, we have a shop in Denver and I'm sure there's a Kenworth dealer there.  :)

I saw one of the new YRC Cascadia sleepers working today on I-29 northbound near Mound City, MO.

No picture, too dark, came out unrecognizable.

Not really a new equipment sighting, but an observation. FedEx Freight, at least around here, is painting the ex-Watkins equipments hoods.  I've seen a Volvo VNL and yesterday I saw the local Freightliner M2 box truck and both their hoods are now white lacking stripes.  Both still had their red frames and 4 hole rims, though.
The foot turned to the horse, the horse to the carriage, the carriage to the train, and the train to the truck.

I drove a former Watkins/FedEx National LTL VNL today and it had white decals covering the blue and red stripes all around.  Same deal, red frame and 4 hole wheels (8 lug instead of our usual 10 lug).

Sounds like the YRC treatment. :P  Another random observation.  UPS Freight has demoted some of the older Overnite Volvo VNMs in the old livery to P&D used.  They removed the air fairings, but did not repaint them, yet they relabeled their numbers into the UPS font gold font on the front of the hood  .  Makes getting unit numbers more difficult.

Last week the President visited a UPS terminal in Las Vegas (not a subject I normally follow) however I had to look for more pictures of the background displays which included new T800s for UPS:

Want to bet that UPS saves one of those KW's for their antique collection.

That is way to much grill chrome for UPS. Quite a departure from the past. :o

Lots and lots of brand new Vitran trailers at the Stoughton Trailers plant in Brodhead, WI.  48' possibly.  Could be 53' but had no markings telling so.
