So far in the past two weeks I have spotted a Volvo VN, 8100 and a Freightliner FL70 all painted in red for Fed Ex (all from AF) in the Seattle area and have seen a white T-300 bobtailing across Oregon with the L prefix for Fed Ex Frt East city power.

Another sighting on the Fed Ex Freight scene:  A KW that was transfered to Fed Ex National a while back and sporting a "National" number in the 46000 class with the Fed Ex Freight name back on the door.

Interesting that they'd be distributing the red former AF stuff all the way out here...

Ok guys are you ready for these?  Only one pic, ABF Freightliners. These were parked behind Midway Sterling/Ford's body shop being lettered.  ABF has bought a lot of trucks from Midway through the years, and I had heard Midway had aquired a Freightliner dealership somewhere in Iowa.

Look on Dave Fausts photo pages (ABF) for a photo.

Charlie,

I'd rather have a Mack from Allentown, than something from south of the border, besides, word is that there will only be 25 Freightliners. More Macks on the way, hopefully I can see some coming off the assembly line during this years Macungie Show. Also some Volvo sleepers are supposed to happen, we'll see...

They look nice. Con-way type setup, except for ABF ordered the one piece roof fairing.

Thanks to roogie for the Photo!

Never been a big MACK fan, due mainly I'd suppose growing up in the industry out here in the west. Big lack of exposure in the beginning. But, I'm certainly on board with you dockmen about made in the USA.

Usually it's deader than a doornail at the SEFL terminal in Punta Gorda FL whenever i drive by but today there was a Penske FL Cascadia & an International 8600 in the yard. :o  Me thinks the Cascadia would look good in SEFL livery. 8)

Sleeper or daycab?
The foot turned to the horse, the horse to the carriage, the carriage to the train, and the train to the truck.
