I saw a Vitran Cascadia today. It was different from the one Ray mentioned. It was a long hood, with full cab extenders, dual tanks, and a visor. It was the first truck I've seen branded Vitran that hasn't been a Mack.

Saw on truckingboards that Conway Freight LTL has started getting a bunch of Cascadia's with DD engines and 10spd trannys much nicer than the Sterlings. Courtesy of Snaildriver from TB. "http://i26.tinypic.com/2vxhxfm.jpg"

Thank you I tried a couple times but my Blackberry wouldn't copy and paste the right link. Look better with a visor but still a pretty good looking truck in their colors.

It was putting it in HTML code instead of the BBcode or whatever this board runs on needs.    :-)

Thanks for posting it, much better than the Sterlings imo.

I knew this wasn't going to come out when I shot it since it was practically dark out, but here's a Pitt Ohio Prostar headed for the Pa Turnpike X48 on the NE side of Pgh.

Those Cascadias will look nice alongside the Sterlings Con-Way owns.  The shop guys will probably appreciate the similar parts they need too.

Paul, it may be blurry but that's a nice looking Prostar.  I wonder if that's going to be their new vendor since Sterling went under despite they still technically have Mack.

They may have a split with International and Mack just like Mack and Sterling. First Prostar I have seen but they run an 8600 down here everyday and its a good looking truck. And for some reason the Conway Cascadia grows on me everytime I look at it. Maybe its just nice to see a plain jane fleet get some bling finally. Other than the grill.

Whoa take it easy on NEMF Ray. :-o Give 'em another 20 years or so and i'm sure they'll be in the market for some used Cascadias and T660's.  That is if the R & U model Macks have been retired by then.  :-P
