I'm still a little lost, Ray. The only thing they've ever used to fill in a hole was on the CH's where they put the handle instead of the Bull Dog.

Im sorry Nate, But I was actually refering to the Nameplates, Didn't UPS used to get Rid of them, so that People wouldn't recognize who the Maker of a certain Truck was  :? :? Thats what i was joking about  :|

Both UPS and UPS Freight both still practice this, but there are not holes left by the removal, there is usually a filler that is placed on the hood, then the emblem goes inside or over that, the emblem is removed, and the filler is left. Or it is just on top of the metal, and only metal is left.

Example.

Kansas City got 3 new Kenworth T660 daycabs.  These seem to be identical inside as the current extra cab T800s, but with updated exterior.
