It's been 5 years now of separate operations, but I too think the day will come where it will all be one.

We were told that the new consolidated terminals are not getting a fence on the dock to seperate the two operations anymore.  They will be moving us into Roadway's barn sometime during 2010 after they enlarge the building by adding 34 doors.

Dad told me that New Century bought some of Jevic's tractors. He has pictures, said he saw a straight job and a few daycabs.

Also, not new equipment, but rumor has it that NCT's CEO is looking to acquire the Jevic name and J1, Jevic's Delanco HQ.

Greg and I saw some Penske Prostars running for Roadway's Velocity service.  He posted pictures in another thread.
The foot turned to the horse, the horse to the carriage, the carriage to the train, and the train to the truck.

Apparently, New Century also bought some of the newer Jevic heater trailers from the auction.

Probably old hat by now but i saw a Fedex (Freight or LTL  :?) FL Cascadia sleeper pulling doubles the other day near Orlando. A couple of hours later spotted a Fedex Freight Prostar daycab near Jacksonville.

On the phone with dad now. He was at NCT's terminal, checking out a BRAND NEW CASCADIA! Said it has full fairings, all painted and lettered, and the best part? Manual transmission! We're hoping Harry is going to switch to all manuals, since these auto's suck. He has pics on the cell phone, which I will be seeing when he gets home. There's only one there now, at Westampton, but there may be other ones around. Keep your eyes open!
