The Western Star Heritages, not the most spacious truck around but look tuff, the new Mack superliners look tuff too.

To look at: T904 kw with loads of chrome and a high hp engine

For comfort, Id probably get a constellation series though.

If I was running a fleet I'd get T604s and T404s for a good compromise between fuel consumption and american style, and they're cheaper than constellations.

Classic truck: Old KW K100, SAR or W900, powered by a 2stroke detroit just for the noise! The old K100 looked heaps tougher than the new ones which are too plasticky.

I don't like european trucks, they are apparently very economical but they look so plasticky and characterless in my opinion

I've been thinking about this subject now and again for a couple of months. I finally decided it must be Freightliner Cab Overs, don't know why, but that's it, a Freightliner. Not an Argosy or Freightliner with a set back axles either. Think its because thats what I grew up with, and it just seemed that 2 out of 5 trucks running out west here were Freightliners.
