Title: My new photo host
Post by: Ray F on July 10, 2019, 05:36:24 AM
So I decided to go Pro on Flickr with a very old Account I forgot I made way in 2007. Its like $5 month to month kinda deal. My old host Weebly decided to change its policy, just like PB did and now has only a 500MB limit for free users  :-\ :'(

So its gonna be a Big chore to move all of my pics from Weebly and PB to Flickr

Thanks for the link Ray. There have been a few issues lately as they transition from Yahoo hosting to Amazon Web Services but I hope the future will be better. Trying to upload 13 shots right now and it doesn't want to complete the process.

Just wanted to give this thread a bump  8) as I've been steadily trying to get more stuff like more sections, etc. added  8)

My biggest challenge is yet to come how to organize all of my "Fleet" pics  ;) :-\

Enjoy  ;D

I like what you're doing with your albums, I do something similar with mine. I have one main album for all trucks, then separate albums for each manufacturer, as well as specific albums for a couple industry specific rigs like movers and tow trucks. And specific albums for trips, events, etc. It can be a challenge because I don't want too many albums making things hard to find though.

Seems like you're off to a good start organizing though. Also fyi if you do Pro month-to-month for 5 bucks, a year subscription is gonna run you 60 bucks, vs. 50 if you just buy the whole year at once.

I just started organizing my photos once again.....by make & types of haulers. Just got done last night with 2013....a long way to go. ;D My 2006-2012 photos all disappeared when my XHD crapped out 2-3 years ago except for a bunch I was able to salvage off the Forum. I'm thinking of organizing the 10 shoeboxes of film pics from 2001-2006 but that's a long way off. :D It's certainly easier to find pics when they're organized but it sure is a lot of work. >:(

Really cool shots Ray, the FLT and the W9 with the frowning grille were my favs. I love that grille on the KW too, it gives it a mean look. The cars were neat too, gotta love the old school classics and how aggressive they look compared to today. Always nice seeing the General Lee out too. And your fire apparatus show was very cool too, loved the Ford C Series and the Hahn? snorkel. I wish there was more of those C series running around in any capacity, seems like they disappeared from the landscape.

All the old trucks were cool, and the vintage tractors were really cool too.
My absolute favorite has to be the GENERAL LEE, love that car! 8)
