Title: Hanks photos
Post by: james j neiweem on April 18, 2019, 01:47:34 PM
Hank sorry to see you are shutting down. We are all sorry. Have you considered marketing the truck photos that were on your site. I am sure lots of these photos are priceless and I am sure there would be a market out there for the truck enthusiasts. :)

Ahhhhhh, why didn't I think of the ol Wayback Machine!!!!  Brilliant Jim!

And you can even go back to a time when everyone didn't have their photos on lock down, and there is nothing anyone can do about the Wayback Machine archive...back to when photos were clickable and Large!!!   8) 8)

What a good news  :D :D :D Thank you Jim.

I take the opportunity to let you know that my TNT truck pictures collection is hosted on another website since few weeks. As my TNT collection has developed in all directions over time during  the years it was hosted by Hank, I took the opportunity, this
time, to rationalize and restructure it. Now, people can easily links the trucks on the photos with divisions which operated them
and put those divisions in perspective in looking the TNT North America Financial & Operational Organizational Chart which open the collection.

I hope you will enjoy the photos related to that carrier who though outside the box in many regards.

Just checking this site out & see the URL for HTP has been excluded from the wayback machine site. >:( Anyone know what's going on?

Why don't you email Hank and find out.

Yes, I have been in contact with Wayback Machine about my archived web site. I have been noticing a lot and I mean a lot of pictures that have been on my web site since its beginning now appearing on Pinterest and other web sites. The part that bothers me is that collections that I have been asked to remove are appearing on those other sites. So to honor those requests I asked that the Wayback Machine remove all archived snap shots of hankstruckpictures.com

Sorry to do this to you all.

Probably way too late as anyone with interest in these photos had probably copied them when HTP was still up & running. Pinterest is loaded with these pics.....I get 2-3 emails a day from them with various truck related themes & i'd bet 50% or more came from HTP. The Pinterest pics can be copied also......just don't have the narrative part to go with them.
