Title: The Phillipines............were old American COE's go to "retire"

In 2012 i visited the island off Mindanoa.
Stayed in the nothern part as in the southern part there lots off angry terrorists running around.  :o ???
Anyone who loves old American COE's would find this place heaven.
If you can tell us the former USA owner's off these trucks,pls tell us. ;)

Those barriers are placed there by the locals to slow traffic so they can cross the road.

Now i have lots off pictures off those old American trucks and will be adding them over time.

It is the firetruck for the Limketkai Shopping Mall in Cagayan d'Oro.
Perfectly maintained and gets taking on "outhings" around the Mall.
They park it in the shade so it doesn't get to hot.
The perfect retirement plan for an old workhorse. 8) 8) 8)

The old firetruck and i have a lot in common. ;D Been retired almost 5 years now and while i'm not perfectly maintained the Mrs. does take me on frequent outings to the mall and parks me in the shade so i don't get too hot. :D ::)

Charlie,i actually caught 2 ex American trucks that were converted to fire trucks and are enjoying a very nice retirement in the sun.

The second one was even more off a one off catch.

And you will notice.......;they did park it so the cab has full shade.

Very cool your vacation, Fangio!! is very interesting these "bike carts", Fangio they are used more for tourism or by locals? :)

Lucas,that area......let's just say i was the only white guy around for miles.
So everything you see in those pictures is for locals.
It is the industrial area.
