I enjoy watching this show and good to see they got picked up for another season.  Also like Swamp Loggers. Ax Men..... what a joke.

I liked the episode last night, I thought half way through about what happened to that Mack Titan they got.

Good show, It looks like the Pellitier's expanded into some other ventures. You gotta love them old Mack DM's they run, some are even 6x6s.

They bought 2 Mack Titans..."Bonecrusher" was assigned one, and the oldest brother Danny got the other, Danny tipped his over, even though it showed an older Western Star...the trailer building division was the former Stairs Welding from Hodgton, Maine that Pellatier bought out and moved down to Millinocket.  Stairs made an excellent product and was legendary in the Maine wood hauling scene for decades...both trailers and headache racks...the Moose River mill in Jackman that Steve Gilman was delivering to is the mill I haul out of...I see the Pellatier trucks in there all the time...

Stairs in Hodgdon is still in business.  Pelletier's bought out Valley Trailer in Fort Kent.

Thanks for the reminder...

It's not the bad ass peterbilts that keep the hammer lane squeaky clean anymore. It's the soccor moms in the minivans and business professionals on the phone.

I think the Pelleiters (sorry if spelled wrong) are a good example of a good business operation that is highlighted on television, unlike some operations. I don't have anything against the loggers on Ax Men, well actually I do (but they aren't the real loggers ::)), and I think you can tell how well the operation is run, but you have to look past the drama.

Just saying but American Loggers is one of the best shows I've seen on tv!

After tonight's episode, and what I've read online, I found three of their old trucks for sale on TruckPaper.  ;)

Glad to see I wasn't the only one to go looking to see if they traded. Word must be out about those trucks if they are still there nearly a year later.

08 Cat with problems...shocking  ::) wonder how the new DD they got will do. Wish they would have shown the "meeting " with the dealership & the exact problems. They do have some cool old Mack's though.

I am surprised that those cat engines would still be under warranty. It is a great show, I'm usually half asleep when it comes on though. There Westernstars are pretty sweet, especially the older ones with the spoke rims. It is also rumored that Brian AKA Bonecrusher has left the company.

Now if they added a character like Swamp Man "off Ax Men" and his dog Piss Willy riding shotgun and shooting his gun out the window theyd really have a show worth watching  8)

You said it, no logging show is complete without a guy who I wouldn't trust with a Red Rider going out with a .357 and shooting at everything with a pulse that swims!

I was glad to see the Macks finally show up again. I think I would have thought it thru a little more before putting a new guy in one of the newer trucks. But I'm not paying their bills so they can wreck as many as they want ;). I just hate to see someone not taking care of something new :-\.

Agreed. When you get a new truck whether your a new driver or experienced you should take care of the truck. The company trusts you enough to give you a new truck, the least you could do is keep it clean.

The one that was older than 2008 was actually traded in a year before during the second season of the show on Truck #90

The two 2008's which would of formally been Truck #82 and Truck #83 would of been traded in on Truck #93 and Truck #94

Some time after the first week of February during the third season of the show the last 2008 truck which would of been Truck #81 that Bone Crusher would of drove before he got his Mack Titan would of been traded in on Truck #95

The last truck that would of been giving them problems in the fleet would of been the tri axle Western Star that Wayne Pelletier would of drove that was named the "Three Little Pigs"

But, Freightliner Of Maine would of warranted that truck, Because, It would of been to expensive to trade in, After the third motor that was put in when it was warranted, The particular truck seemed to not give the Pelletier's as many problems with the motor

The "Three Little Pigs" would of been a 2009

I actually know the Pelletier's personally

08 Cat with problems...shocking  ::) wonder how the new DD they got will do. Wish they would have shown the "meeting " with the dealership & the exact problems. They do have some cool old Mack's though.

They actually got three trucks the year that the third season of the show aired, One of them was shown quite regularly on the show, one of them was seen a couple of times on the show and I'm not sure if the last one was ever seen on the show and the Pelletier's actually got rid of three 2008 Trucks with Cat Engine's

And the DD Engine's seemed to have held up just fine

I actually know the Pelletier's personally
